Woody was the same way at A&M. He has his guy. Announce mid-season and could harm the deal. So, he keeps it quiet until the season is over for said coach.

No clue who it is, but I suspect the deal is cooked. Likely only 3 folks know in the AD office. I doubt the big money boosters know who the target is.

Some dishes come out better when you let the sauces marinate for a day or more.
