Except for Miami, he has never shown interest in any job. He has small kids and loves Starkvegas. So much he moved his wife's parents there. I think he is ready to leave now. Sick of State not paying to keep his staff. 3 DCs in 3 years. He just got rid of his agent for Sexton, so he will be looking now.

Don't be pissed. Mullen just beat Ole Miss handily in Oxford with a freshman QB ranked in the 1000s out of HS while Freeze got the number 1 QB in the nation. Look objectively. He's a fantastic coach.

If your answer is Dak and they were ranked number 1, then your opinion is invalid.
Dak was 1-3 against Ole Miss (winless as a starter) and Mullen is 2-3 against Freeze.

He has a losing conference record overall and has had one winning conference record in eight years. Has finished higher than 4th in the West once. He isn't winning at State as much as everyone thinks in conference and they routinely play the weakest OOC schedule in the West, if not the entire league, which further skews the view of his record.
He's a solid coach, nothing more.
