The make or break of the hire will be who we get as OC

First I am surprised Kelly is the hire and he wasn't on my list of options at all. That being said, I have an open mind to the hire.
I like getting a no nonsense hard nosed coach that will push his players to excel. I also expect a physical team that that doesn't make many mistakes.
If he can can find a solid OC that can develop QBs I think Kelly will do well here.

I kind of agree about needing an OC. I’d like to avoid returning to the Les miles offensive years.
He has been pretty successful with a more strict academic standard at notre dame. Competes regularly for the playoff. I can’t say I’m disappointed, but I’m not sure how I feel yet until we see his staff.
