The issue if we hire someone from the Saban coaching tree...

Bama will come calling that person home if that person is successful at LSU and Saban retires...is that a risk worth taking for someone like Napier or Tucker?

Neither of those coaches will be successful Chicken

Is this a troll or some sort of Stockholm syndrome?

Has someone hacked Chickens site?

Feels like a little brother concern. I think hire whoever you think is the best candidate and do whatever it takes to keep them here. Miles did turn down Michigan to stay here (or at least said publicly he wasn't interested). What's to say another coach wouldn't do the same thing?

That’s why we’re hiring Lincoln Riley

Why? Just bury Bama like they were in the early 2000s and become the dominant program in the SECW.

I think Napier is a great coach who will eventually make the big jump and do very well.

I don't think Bama is a much better job than LSU. Saban would have won just as much at LSU, Florida or Georgia.
They were fairly irrelevant from Gene Stallings until Saban.

Napier won't even get an interview

Goodluck to the poor bastard that follows him.
Can you imagine the first back to back 10-2 regular season?

We should worry more about the fact that before Jimbo last week, not one has ever beat him.

They'll go after Dabo or Kirby.

So true. My opinion as of now Kirbywill be first coach Bama calls when that day comes.

He's the greatest coach in modern history if not of all time considering the era.

This is actually a very good point. But we can’t let that affect the search.

I really think with what Kirby has done at Ga. he will be leading candidate to replace Saban when he is ready to hang it up.
