So tired of this take. Don't you people realize that the boosters don't have unlimited funds, and what happens if they run out of money that they're willing to donate? 17 million is a crap load to pay a coach to not coach. If we get a homerun hire this time, great, but what if we don't? Another 17 million? You can only milk that cow so many times.
I've said this several times here and always get downvoted, but saying "it's not your money why do you care" is equivalent to saying "Myles Brennan's injury isn't your arm so why do you care?"
It affects the team and the program. The money isn't unlimited. We aren't aTm or UGA.

Part of an ad's job, probably the biggest part, is the ability to raise that money to make these moves. Woodward doesn't seem to have a problem raising the money. Don't worry it will be there.

I'm not sure that's exactly going to make front page news "boosters run out of money so they're fricked"
Nebraska's boosters probably got sick of throwing money into the program. Who knows.
