and very likely to happen because it allows to move around a couple of useless coaches (being optimistic)
Shoop is going to be the DC
Brick moves to coach LBs
Coach O takes over DL

Simply cannot happen, without other moves too. One too many coaches on staff.

And this information is from? Don't get me wrong, that's probably the best case scenario, but I just can't see Shoop leaving Franklin.

If only Les would move Peveto to an administrative spot.

EDT: ...And I would be happy with Pendergast or Shoop.

We have a little wiggle room as far as coaching spots if it comes to that. If you have to have peveto on official staff as st coach, then you could move ensminger to an admin spot, and have the te's coached by grimes or Henry.

Up his arse, like everything else he's ever posted.
His "likely" scenario puts us one over the coaching limit, so a coach currently under contract would have to be relieved of their duties.

Go to your trailer JA, it is past your bed time and your are drunk. Better things come from my arse than from your head.
Go and read the definition of "likely" before you post and insult people.

same scenario different positions.

Shoop to DC
Brick stays where he is
Coach O takes on Kragthorpe's roll (seriously Krag does nothing for that staff. might as well have a top recruiter there)

Someone correct me if I'm wrong... Isn't the NCAA voting on or implementing a new rule in the spring allowing one more coach on staff?

I believe I read it here. Can someone confirm or deny this? It would make all the difference in this hire.

And I'm on board with OP. Its my favorite scenario if the new NCAA rule is true, and everyone wins. Les gets to stay loyal to his staff like he wants, keeping Brick. We get Orgeron and a good DC. And the fanbase is happy.

I cannot see Brick taking a "demotion" to LB just so we can bring in Ed O.

Brick either getst he DC job or he moves on....JMO

That would work... Except that Krags already didn't count against our coaches limit. He's viewed as an administrator.

The rule is 1 head coach, 9 assistants.

Les Miles - HC
Cameron - OC
Frank Wilson - RB coach
Grimes - OL
Henry - WR
Ensmiger - TE
Peveto - Special Teams
Haley - DL
Raymond - DB

That's 1 head coach + 8 assistants. And then you have the DC job still open.
