If Texas continues this downward spiral, Strong is retained for another year and he gets a new DC to try to right the ship next year.

The AD just came out yesterday and said no moves will be made during the season. Said no matter what happens Charlie is safe through this season
I think it's 50/50. He needs to go 8-4.

He'll probably pull one out of his arse and beat OU, then go on and lay an egg against Iowa State or Kansas.

All he said was he wouldn't make a move during the season. I never said his job was safe.

Everyone agrees. They're just saying he won't be fired midseason like Les. He won't be. He'll be fired at the end of the season unless there's a 77-0 blowout loss, which would give the bureaucrats political cover to do it midseason.
