Texas courting Gary Patterson for spot on staff

GP would add a ton of value to any team, but I wonder how he would mesh with the staff. Dude has called the shots for twenty years so it will be interesting to see if he can be a team player when he doesn’t have the ultimate vote.

If I were Sark, no way I would hire Patterson. Never hire your successor.

Nobody has exploited Texas's weaknesses better than TCU over the last decade, so who better to help fix them. Gary Patterson is a great football coach & Sark has a hell of a lot to learn. Texas wants Gary in something of a GM role and I am all fricking for it, apparently he is too.

What a degrading offer. At least I would feel that way if I was GP after I built TCU into a program capable of beating the “mighty” Longhorns 7/10 tries. No way he does this

He should easily be a top target of BK for DC. Quality guy, great coach and DC.
