So you don’t like Woodward or Jimbo or both? Why should I care how much they pay Jimbo? If boosters want to pony up the money so be it.

Because when he inevitably goes 9-3 each year with an occasional 10-2 season it will be onerous to move on when LSU is still on the hook for about $80 million.

Jimbo at $7.5 million for 6 years? Fine.

They're idiots, but at least there is a better history there to support that fan fiction. Jimbo was coming to LSU in 2015 until our admin pulled the rug out from our AD. Jimbo does have a history with Woodward in exiting big programs to go to another.

That is all more rational, even if still fantastical, than Woodward self-demoting himself to run NIL at TAMU, so he can stay with Jimbo (when there was no reason for him to even leave Jimbo in the first place).

So you don’t like Jimbo or have confidence that he is a 10 win coach. I don’t see that from any candidate except Saban and he obviously isn’t coming
