It seems like a new guy every week. Who the hell is it going to be? I'm tired of this. This waiting game is killing me. Honestly, when do you think Miles will make his decision?

He will have made his decision by next week (and the guy will know he's the guy), but if the new coach is not going to coach the bowl game there is no reason to officially announce until after the bowl game because Miles can take more in-home visits to recruits if he doesn't have a full staff.

both seem to be intense guys with excellent backgrounds coaching DBs (c ya doug)

Tenuta just has more of a high risk high reward philosophy on D.

here what Chavis had to say
quote:

"I think anybody would be interested in LSU," Chavis said Thursday night on his cellular phone but added that he did not want to discuss LSU while there was not an opening at LSU.

and basically Koenning says the same

"Heck yeah, I'd be interested in LSU," Koenning, 48, said. "But I'm not aware of any jobs over there. I'm for coaches. I wish none of us would get fired. I've got friends on that staff, and they just won the national championship."

quote:

Koenning is friends with LSU offensive coordinator Gary Crowton, and their wives are friends.

What are you waiing for Coach Miles?

So what about Chavis? He was all the rage on this board a few days ago. I take it you guys prefer Tenuta to him?

They're just playing the game. Of course they're not going to openly discuss jobs that are not officially open. But behind the scenes things are happening. Are you people that hard headed? It’s been said on here (and other sites) numerous times that the wheels are in motion. I see everyone being officially hired at the same time. So we may not hear anything concrete until all the pieces of the staff are put together.

And I don't disagree with your reasoning, it's good gamesmanship. However, doesn't someone on the current staff have to resign or be fired for your reasoning to be valid?
