Jumping from Tennessee to LSU would be a lateral move.

c'mon, man.

LSU has the potential to be in the BCS title hunt in 2011. Does Tenn? not a knock on the Vols, but the guy could step in and get a ring.

Anyways, not counting our rich tradition, we can currently match LSU with money, facilities, resources, and young talent.

Doubt it... Tennessee has one of the biggest football budgets in the nation... that's why they were able to shell the frick out for the Kiffin dream team.

Tennessee's biggest downfall is in state talent. It is and always has been weak with the exception of Memphis area maybe. UT has to make a living on recruiting nationally

According to Rivals you do. According to what your team does on the field you don't

why would we pay brand new coaches, as much as a NC winning staff?

I'd be willing to bet there is VERY LITTLE difference in the amount of money at LSU and UT

Maybe its not a great advantage, but I'd be willing to bet Les got more money for coordinators in his new contract
