Maybe because Tee Martin has never been HC before and Tennessee is not exactly the best place to cut your teeth on your first HC gig.

It baffles me that even now Tennessee officials and big boosters won't swallow their pride and go after Lane Kiffin. It even angers me a little.

Have fun losing twenty straight to Bama. I was really rooting for you, Vols.

That's just ignorant. It's not about swallowing pride. It's about learning from past mistakes. Don't make the same one twice.

At this point it's not ignorant. This isn't the same situation it was last time.

They should hold a telethon:

"Please call....if you've coached a pee-wee team...just call. We need your help. No experience or salary demand too small or too big. We have operators standing by. There are no medical exams and no one can be rejected"

Wilson is going to be a damn good coach. Probably a little too soon but Tennessee ain’t exactly pulling the best right now

Most State fans here in Raleigh would be pretty happy to hear this. He's had some modest success, but is also a total d*ck and has ticked off some high-profile alumni.

He hasn't won enough to make up for a complete lack of people skills. Like it or not, that's a big part of the job.

Currie: "What are your qualifications to be the head football coach at the University of Tennessee?"
Doeren: "I can beat Vanderbilt. Here's proof. LINK."
Currie: "You're hired."

I would love for Frank to be the next head coach at LSU after O

What is the shelf life for a SEC coach these days?
5 on the low end to 10 on the high end.

Clay Travis? @ClayTravis I am told that UT AD John Currie made an offer to Jeff Brohm that Brohm accepted. Currie then asked the chancellor to approve the offer — buyout included — and chancellor said no. So Currie went back to Brohm with lesser offer and Brohm said no. So here we are.
