I think Chavis might be a top candidate. Considering its this late in the game... there's not a lot of prime head coaching candidates left, he's got 20 years of experience with school and he's an Alum... and he would be no threat to leave. I'd have to think he'd make any short list they might have.

Here are the people I think could get consideration:
1. Mike Leach
2. Peterson (probably will not make the move)
3. Cutcliffe - Although it would be a safe hire, would not be a big enough splash.
4. Patterson - not leaving TCU
5. You could throw 2-3 names into the 5th slot. However, I am going with one out of left field.....Kirby Smart!!!!
