Per 247, he told his players yesterday that none of the Fleck to TN stuff was true.
There were reports of a 5 year $40 million offer made late yesterday afternoon, but who that was made to is still unknown

Only Nick Saban and Dabo Swinney are worth that kind of money and perhaps not Swinney if not for his staff being excellent at stealing play signs

The reports are that the $40 mill includes the current buyout. So probably somewhere around $6/yr

I don't doubt that a major offer was made (to whom, I don't know). I just expect the offer to be rejected for obvious reasons.

Fleck has done a ton of recruiting in Ga and Fla at Minny. Not pulling the same kind of kids as UGA and UF but certainly getting talent. He has relationships with coaches down here and knows where the talent is. I think he’ll land his fair share of top 15 classes, which is punching above the weight they currently should be at (McDonalds bags of cash not withstanding)

Nah, they've got it down to two guys. Going back and forth with one of them on the possible NCAA stuff. If he doesn't want to do it, they'll go with the other guy. National media has no clue who the target it is. Most of the people that have been thrown out by them as connected to the search haven't even been contacted. This dude Danny White is different. We're in really good hands this time around.

PJ Fleck will be a failure at Tennessee if he goes there. I don’t blame him if he takes the job but the problems with Tennessee are more than simply coaching. There are inherent problems in their recruiting and the level of their competition in the SEC East is much better than what Tennessee can truthfully beat any time soon. Good luck.
