Mark Stoops would be another really good hire. He would definitely help out recruiting Goldman.

Stoops has been pretty solid. He also coaches DB's 
Move Thigpen to LB's if he stays? Lolley moves back into an admin role and we hire someone to coach ends allowing Pelton to focus on tackles only.

Yep. Supposedly he and jimbo don't get along. Apparently he is looking, don't know if it is just a ploy to get more money or what.

A hire of Stoops would be amazing. I also would be surprised since I thought his next move would be as a head coach. For him to make a lateral move, (in job title) AU must be opening up the pocketbooks for him.

looks like he was making 400k a year, roof was making more than that at 500k, I would say Auburn has some room

Stoops is definitely in the mix, though not certain he's done. Yesterday I heard Zook and Withers were close to top of list. This morning heard "Stoops is in the mix". Not sure if this flight it to go get him though. It does go to GA afterward and was in Denver the other day. Wouldn't read that it's "done" based on flight.

Definitely not done by any means, but it is promising. He is very similar in philosophy to chizik as far as schemes go, so he is going to be tough to beat out. Chiz & co are definitely going to do their due diligence, but I really ohpe they get Stoops.
