Why? I find Ruston to be one of the LEAST racist places in Louisiana, besides the cities proper of Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and Shreveport. My ex gf was black, and not ONE person ever batted an eye in Ruston, so I think this is a bad comment to make.

+1, we share the same bars with grambling and all have a good time. I find Ruston a great place to go to school.

To drink hard liquor, Ruston folks have to drive to Grambling or Monroe.
The City of Grambling annexed some land next to Calvary Baptist to be able to sell liquor closer to Tech.

How long have they been selling anything other than beer and wine there?
Do they have some kind of card or something you have to have to buy hard liquor?

I go through there all of the time. I would say they changed it 6 or 7 years ago. I believe that they have to serve food to be able to serve liquor, so every bar in town has sandwiches 
. No card.
