Just like that other smug reporter from Florida I heard on Finebaum a couple months back saying there was no way the Gators would be playing a game in Baton Rouge this season.

Jimbo will sign an extension with FSU. He will get another raise, facility improvements and a bag of cash to pay his assistants. I would love to see him here but I don't see it happening

Ive just read many posts on 247 and plenty think he's out based on his interviews and unwillingness to just flat out say "I'm not going to LSU"

I was in grad school at FSU at the same time, from 97-2000. Everyone in that damn town throught they were going to wipe the field with UT with a bad backup QB. And the way they all bowed down to excuse away Peter Warrick and Janikowsky getting away with theft and beatdowns at every bar in town respectively just completely soured me on that place. They were as bad or worse than Bama fans on the SEC Rant are now. I was cheering for UF in their annual game before I left there.

A lot are getting kind of fed up with Jimbo doing this stuff every year. He's toyed with the Auburn job a few years back. The Texas job. And now the LSU job twice in two years. A lot believe he doesn't deserve what some of the reported offers will be. That he gets paid right where he should.
I just question why Jimbo keeps pulling this stuff. He keeps pushing and pushing. You have to wonder when it will end, TBH.

If there's no way he's coming then why is Lsu even trying. There's some interest otherwise Lsu gets the hint last November and moves on. Maybe it's just sexton but imo there is some interest

If there is no chance of it happening then why doesn't Jimbo just say he's not going to take another coaching job? When someone doesn't confirm or deny then something is up. There is a awful amount of smoke around this and it's not just here.

And that may very well happen. My point is that no one outside of the ADs, agents, and the coaches involved know shite. Not even boosters know anything at this point, so a media shill is expecting us to believe he definitively does?
