Taking in all sources, writers, websites, etc., its clear Ensminger was the only guy

Coach O had no search. Ensminger was always the only one ever considered for the job. This needs to be clear for everyone, and there's almost no mistaking it at this point.
It is truly incredible. Whats the fastest possible way to get Coach O fired? Can anyone start a gofundme?
I can't imagine Joe Alleva survives this either. LSU needs to move on from Coach O as fast as possible, or he's going to plant some ugly weeds that will last longer than anyone wants to admit.

If the SEC had a circus act right now, it would without a doubt be the LSU football program and Joe Alleva...

how do you know ensminger wasn’t approached by other schools and turned them down? You don’t. He said he didn’t want to be OC so it’s at least a little bit likely he has had feelers put out to him by somebody but said no thanks.
Oh yea steele who our fan base was happy to get rid of held Bama to 14 points in a auburn win this year. You don’t know what ya got til the team takes the field bro.

O had to know this would not be received well and is not in line with the promise he made last year to get the job. I really have to wonder if he just doesn’t give a frick and will simply ride the gravy train as far as he can while doing whatever he wants along the waywithout regard to its impact on LSU.

The last time he was an OC was back in 1998, and he was fired. I think we can make a pretty damn good guess that he's not a hot commodity.

LSU never had a problem with defense against Bama even with Steele. LSU has been literally the worst team in the SEC against Bama for the last 7+ years on offense.
LSU is literally the only team in the entire SEC West that hasn't scored more than 20 points on Bama since 2010.
Ole Miss, Miss St., Texas A&M, Auburn, and Arkansas have all scored 20 points on Bama in at least one game. LSU hasn't even scored 20 POINTS once since 2010, going on 8 years now.
LSU has also lost 8 times in a row since 2010...its no coincidence WHY they've lost. Its OFFENSE. Always has been, and will continue to be.
LSU invests great $$$ on defense, but on the part they're weakest they curl into a ball and yet again go cheap?

Are other HC's this lazy when it comes to replacing coaches. He's known for some while that he was gonna sever ties with Matt. You would think he had more names on his list than Lane and Steve.

And the real sad part is, irrespective of this so called circus, LSU was still probably the 3rd best team in the league.
