There’s also the fact that this situation will have little direct impact on the portal because the new calendar is forcing it to a head right now. LSU and UF will make hires regardless and the portal and recruiting will play out with them already on-board.

OP said he had sources confirm it was Kiffin but never said anything about an announcement. Was there anything at all trustworthy to back up these announcement rumors?

Hey Rummy, if it’s ok with jeebus, can we get the TYPE of additional info he shared with you? Not the ACTUAL details, just what kind. Did he give you names, or job position in relation to the search? Maybe contract details? Knows high school coaches? Friend’s dog’s cousin’s owner’s plumber?

Well both LSU BOS and Olemiss have meetings this morning. I think theirs is first then LSU at 9:15 so we should expect some leaks at the very least around that time.

Granted this is all just play money to me on Kalshi (turned a really small amount into $3k+ during the election last year betting Trump to sweep the swing states) so frick it. Playing with house money to begin with so going double or nothing!
