I support Florida's selection of Willie Taggart as coach. I certainly didn't want to see a chip there.

Taggart recruiting wise would be a homerun

Still not sold on the rest

Not a terrible hire if it does happen, but it's a very underwhelming hire because they had to drop several tiers to get to him.

Would be a good hire. Super recruiter and has helped turn around two programs.

Taggart is the next big fail of a head coach. Such an overrated coaching prospect that has done very little given his hype.

At the bare minimum, taggart would load up the roster for the next coach.

Can't see him leaving oregon after one year though.

Strong may be the most logical choice at this point.

I'm telling you, Strong would be great at Florida. If Strickland hasn't called him already, he's a fool.

Strong will recruit Florida very well. I'd be fine with him assuming frost is out of play.

I think he is. And think about this, what if Jimbo jumps to A&M? Nightmare scenario for UF, FSU would be flush with cash from Jimbo's buyout and could basically get whoever they wanted, they'd have a much easier time getting Frost if he doesn't head home to Nebraska.

I'd put him in same the tier as WT.

Not an atrocious hire, but it would be underwhelming on a national level and mean that Florida settled.

How much of a buyout do you think FSU would be paid in this scenario?

You are a complete idiot. WKU and USF were dumpster fires. Usf was so bad they got beat by 32 points by mcneese state. He's rebuilt 3 programs and has a top ten class at frickING Oregon. If he comes here he's going to btfo LSU

The full amount of the contract remaining on any assistants he has on staff at FSU, due within 90 days iirc, could be as much as $17 Million.

If A&M wants Jimbo, it's not gonna come cheap, but they seem to really want him bad.
