Why no mentioning of this cat leaving? I think it's time for him to go too.

Stud can slow smoke a brisket like nobodies business. He isn't going anywhere.

I had my doubts but the oline was drastically improved this season.......I do believe Big Ben had a few fingers in that, but you can't fire Stud right now.
The oline is looking very strong for next year and that will be a better gauge.

And put them down too apparently

If he stays most likely depends on who the new OC is. Different offenses have different blocking schemes.

if we hire the right coordinator we could break whatever the lsu record is for rush yards in a season.

seemed better at run blocking, but no pass blocking.
"Big Ben" -- is Wilkerson back as a grad asst?

Yes, this is absolutely necessary as well--though not as important as getting Crowton out. I am hoping whoever the new OC is will have an input. Also, isn't Stud actually a decent recruiter--it may be that he is still recruiting, but I'm not sure. Yes, with those great OL recruits like Collins, White, and the 2 from St. Aug. on the way, it is high time to get someone who can teach solid technique & who makes sure the best linemen get on the field in the right places. Stud has not done well in these two areas.

The offensive line was better this year than last. I heard him interviewed on the radio before the Cotton Bowl and he was talking about the diffrent offensive sets that LSU was trying to run and that this offensive line is made to power run, but all the option and veer that we were running was not what this line was built for and not what they wanted to do.
I'm willing to give him another year and see what difference a new offensive coordinator makes.
Also, it seems that Miles loves him coach Stud, so I don't expect him to go anywhere anytime soon. Stud was rumored to be up for a job at Memphis last year and stayed, so I think his job is safe here. He's also a major recruiter being responsible for Ruben Randle, Downs, Mingo, Ware, Jordan Allen and Evan Washington.

There won't be any more improvement until Josh D and T Bob quit getting lifetime achievement starts over better players.

So, we ran for 900 more yards this year than last, cut our sacks down from 37 to 24, all with a starter injured on the first offensive play of the season, and people still can't acknowledge that there was improvement from the o-line?

OL is a weak spot, but I don't think Les is going to let Stud go. OL is mostly technique, Les can get more personally involved if need be. The priority has to be on getting another play caller.

When did LSU start running the veer? LSU runs some option but not the veer. Decscibe a veer scheme to me please.

I'm hoping Blackwell comes back in full force, and I'd like to see what Williford and E. Washington can do at guard. (I know Washington is listed as a tackle, but hell, J. Ogden and M. Oher played guard until a spot at tackle opened up.)

Rushing yards went up, sacks went down.

sacks also went down because JJ's playing time went down.
