LSU offensive line coach Greg Studrawa said via text message that he won’t be a candidate for the coordinator job. Studrawa was the offensive coordinator at Bowling Green under Meyer in 2003.

LSU begins talks for offensive coordinator

So we can stop all the Stud speculating

Wisconsin’s Paul Chryst isn’t likely to be on Miles’ wish list.

With a salary of $370,000 a year, the Platteville, Wis., native is the second-highest paid coordinator in the Big Ten Conference and is likely to get a sizable raise after he was considered for the offensive coordinator job at Texas and turned down the job — and reportedly a salary in the $1 million range.

If I was making $370,000 at my home institution and my family loved living there, why would I go anywhere else, even for a million?

That's a serious question. If you're making 370,000 in Madison can you really live that much more comfortably in Austin? 370 is already a better living than 95%+ of this board. I don't think that makes him an idiot at all.

Also, to the OP, didn't Crowton say the same thing to a reporter the day before he became OC at Maryland?

Maybe Chryst wants the Wisky job and is waiting for Bielema to take the Iowa job (Ferentz might be getting tired of it). It sure seems dumb to pass up a mill.

I never really thought that Studrawa rumor was true. Why the frick do people have to make up bullshite like that?

If he left to take the Texas job, does well there and the Wisconsin job came open, he still coulg get the job

But it’s likely that if Miles does consider anyone on his staff for the spot, the 39-year-old Gonzales would be the top candidate.

I'm still not sure how likely this is to happen, but damn I didn't realize BG is 39

Didnt Billy G say the same thing. Apparently no one beleives him, bc whether its people on TD or local media outlets everyone seems to keep talking like he is a candidate.
