Stuck With Crowton

With all these major programs looking for OCs, and Miles not likely to make a move if he makes one until after the bowl game I think we may be stuck with GC one more year at least. What do you guys think?

Yeah cause LSU isn't a major program.
UT and UF have ONE bad year on offense and they're looking.
I guess LSU isn't a major program.

How do you know what Miles is up to?

LSU is a stable program. But i too think we need a change for a positive infusion if anything. But maybe with a good qb coming in we'll be okay with or without GC.

LSU has had 3 bad years of offense and we're still not looking.

My biggest problem with this WHOLE NEW ORIGINAL THREAD, is that Miles is making "no comment" to the media on the situation. If he intends on hiring a new OC and doesnt want to make it public, wouldnt he keep his search for another OC confidential? You act like just because he hasnt said he was on the lookout on the "Lunch with Les" show, that he isnt looking. The difference in the other programs you mentioned is that they have actually fired their coaches.
Im not saying Crowton is gone, but i am saying that you wont know anything until after a bowl game i.e. MALLORY & PEVETO

Especially for schools who have top tier bowls. The only schools firing coaches right now are teams in no bowl or bad bowls: like Colorado, Texas, and Miami.

I'm asking opions people man what has everyone so damn sensitive. I know Miles will not air his dirty laundry and where the hell did I say we are not major program. They question is with all these jobs available will Miles not get the guy he wants in a month or so and just keep Crowton?

Because new Crowton threads pop up every day. Gotta have thick skin.

I think Miles has a short list and if he doesn't get one of those guys, then Crowton returns. It's a possibility that something gets verbally agreed to before the bowl, but we won't know anything until afterward.
With Crowton's history of not developing QBs, I don't want either of our current QBs or Mett under him for another year.

That is what concerns me. I would like a someone here who will have fresh perspective.

Everyone needs to sit back, take a deep breath & be a little patient. We won't know for sure until at least after the Cotton Bowl game, but I am hoping that will be GC's final game at LSU.

He doesn't have to fire someone to start looking for their replacement. Chavis was rumored to be our next DC for almost a month before it was official.
