Yeah that doesn’t work in the SECW

I didn’t say he was an elite recruiter. I agreed. He is too clean for the SEC West.

Um yeah that’s kind of proving the point.

That isn't proving shite. When has Iowa State ever had a top recruiting class? The point is he can identify and develop talent.

Just kidding buddy. I just tend to disagree with your take. I will say he is a very good coach

He would be a great coach at LSU.

You wouldn’t beat Saban and Jimbo in recruiting. Can’t disagree.

But, they would get out coached. Pretty consistently. He is a developer.

If you aren’t recruiting at the top of the country or SEC you aren’t consistently competing for championships.

I don’t think that’s true. I think good coaching wins more consistently than you give it credit for..

I believe Matt Campbell could take a Top 10 class and beat a Jimbo, Mullen and Smart’s top 5 class pretty consistently.

And go back and forth with Saban.

He's recruiting right now if you care to watch.

Hopefully we never find out if that’s the case. SECW is a little more challenging than the Big12 week in and week out.

Campbell recruits character.

You wouldn’t get opt outs. But you’d miss on guys who request $300k to play college football.

Not sure LSU has the stomach for that.

He better be because right now their class is ranked 55 in the country behind the likes of Kansas, Vanderbilt, SMU, and Rutgers. That ain’t gonna cut it in the SEC

They don’t have the stomach for that because you can’t win consistently like that in this league.

To be fair we were facing a heisman contender until State played their next game.

Jon Heacock is one of the best defensive coordinators in the country and most people have never heard of him.

And of course let’s not forget that Matt Campbell interviewed for the Tennessee job three years ago but the powers to be didn’t want to pay his buyout. As always, brilliant decision making coming from the UT leadership.
