That's entirely possible. We have a brand new AD, so even if he already has a mental favorite he's smart to be deliberate about this and interview multiple candidates.

Agreed.
I was legit shocked when I heard that GT was interviewing because I assumed Key was a lock. He’s should quite literally be an ACC COTY candidate. He took over one of the worst teams in the country at that point that was absolutely dead in the water and got them to the cusp of bowl eligibility.
This is the complete opposite of what usually happens in these situations, wherein the AD should hire an external guy but the boosters are inexplicably lobbying for the homegrown kid.

Imagine the GT melt if Tulane turned around and hired Key and he coached in the Cotton Bowl.
