Consensus: They don’t think we’ll hire Tucker for the same reasons many here don’t, but they do seem pretty worried about the prospect of losing him.

Yeah it’s 16 pages of interesting stuff. Tucker wasn’t in my top 5 but I bet A&M fans wouldn’t react to Jimbo being poached this way, so it’s something.

It’s like I’ve been saying, he makes 5.6 million, what makes you think Mich. St won’t counter offer. LSU wouldn’t get him for less than 6.5 million. For a coach that had 2 terrible seasons and hasn’t played a ranked team yet this year. Moscona was saying LSU is going after an accomplished coach?

He’s already top 15 paid CFB coach. Definitely never thought of as a budget hire.

They also gave him 6 mil for his assistant coaches.

They'll change their tune when 7-0 becomes 8-4... They will lose to OSU, Michigan, Purdue, and PSU.

Don't count on it. But, I don't think Tucker wants the LSU job at this point. The Godfather likes Mel. If Mel has continued success we're bringing him back to Tuscaloosa.
