If we could hire Orgeron for DC, would you think it would be a good move?

Even though he lacks experience at DC, the guy can flat out recruit his arse off. Plus, I think he seems like an aggressive type of guy that will like to play aggressive style of defense.

And the best thing is that he'll probably get our d-line performing like they should which is scary with the studs we have. (Nevis, Blackwell, Favorite, Alexander, Jackson, Woods, Alem, RJF)

However, if we hire Spurrier, and he brings along his buddy Oliver? from SC, is taht a good move at defense?

this is the most repeated myth in the country. I have never seen any evidence to support his claim, it's not like he was the one who got bush and leinart. O is a loser and there is no chance we even consider him for waterboy!

No to Orgeron as DC. Did you see OM defense this year? Yeah, i know they have a DC. But, he is a defensive minded guy also and they still sucked.

DL coach/Recruiting coordinator - Absofrickinglutely. I would love to see Coach O recruiting for LSU. He would love to kick the shite out of OM every year.

And before some assclown says, "yall sure talked about coach O and now yall want to hire him?" LSU is not stupid enough to hand him over the keys to the program. Just to recruit. Period.

We'll see in a couple of years if this is the case. He didn't even get a full allotment of "his" recruits at OM. We will see if Nutt can do anything with them. Do you think it's easy to recruit to OM?

Well, since our defense sucked this year does that mean Miles sucked?

Since Mark Richt's UGA team struggled offensively last year, does that mean he sucks?

I just don't think you can base his defensive mind on Ole Miss's ability to attract athletes. Orgeron had a decent dline at Ole Miss and gave us fits at times this year and last.

Is it a crapshoot hiring him as DC? Yes. However, is his recruiting abilities worth it?

WIth Miles however, I'd prefer us to get top notch coordinators. However, with someone like a Zook, Saban, Tuberville, Davis, or Spurrier I think we should take a chance on him.
