Do you know how Texas and Texas AM are funded? Why they have so much income? It isn’t about all boosters. LINK

You forgot “The Hunger Games Approch”. When the AD reads Tiger rant and along with all the fear house ADs and Tailgating Titans of the midway, go week to week eliminating candidates as the season plays out.

We know boosters are just a ploy by the government to give insurance providers more profit.

You’re partially correct. In essence, all of this is a smokescreen to prevent people from finding out that jet contrails are really heavy metal poison dispersals by the government to institute population control. And the Russians….

Yeah not when it is his arse. Personal safety > politics. His hires so far have proven that and you for one should know that. You have swung and missed many times with postings. I know you think that you’re part of the smoke screens, but the reality is he will not let you know what he doesn’t.

I’m a VERY long term endowment contributor as well as TAF.

Maybe the "boosters" should have some influence over who gets to be the AD, but let the AD do his damn job.

Why should they be able to stick their nose in the AD hiring process and not the Coach hiring process?

So where does the 100's of millions that the football team gets from the TV contract go?

To keep the department running just like Miss St and Vandy. You want something extra (like Bama, UGA and A&M) you got to tap the boosters. And yes, when you take their money (especially large amounts of it) they may want to give you their opinion.

You think the state of Louisiana is going to pay a $17 million buyout and $11 million per year for a new coach

Nope, State is only going to pay the base. Mother used to own a home healthcare company. The State would send out a print-out of the highest paid State employees. At the time the highest paid one was Les Miles at $500,000.00

My company made the single largest contribution in the history of LSU A&M. So if I am a broke dick its probably because they gave the school $150,000,000 dollars.

That being said, I should not have influence on who the football coach is.

LSU gets literally hundreds of millions of dollars from the SEC TV contact.

quote:

No, they literally don't. Not even close.
Even with the new TV contract that won't kick in until 2024 each member school is expected to receive $68 million. That is up from the roughly $40 million or so each school receives now.
So $40MM or $68MM annually doesn't add up yo 100's of millions over a few years?
