Yes. The game will come down to the last possession more than likely or OT. Unless UT folds after all the drama which is why I think they lose.

This could end up being their version of the team gutting one out for the coach in distress, like our players did last year. I bet they come out strong, at least. If they get up early and keep the emotion going, I think they could win this one.

If you fire your coach three games into the season and don't get who you want and have a done deal before the season ends, then you are a crappy AD.

So you expect him to just accept LSUs offer and not see what FSU will offer to keep him?

And not only that. Sexton will go back to LSU and see what they'll do.

Wherever Jimbo ends up, Sexton will make sure he has the best offer out of them.
Yep.

The greater control, higher assistants pay, possible academic support center that FSU is supposedly now willing to offer Jimbo are already in place at LSU.

The fact that FSU had not already done these things for Jimbo and their program is a bit of a head scratcher.

Assuming that these are deciding factors, one bit of leverage this offers LSU in a last offer scenario is the fact that, since these advantages already exist, it would be easy to present a detailed plan of how they can be expanded RIGHT AWAY. FSU will still be in the concept phase, where LSU may be in the position to offer exact details that cater to what Fisher wants.

May not even need to be expanded. If LSU, Jimbo and Aranda have it settled that Aranda is staying along with a pretty good concensus regarding rest of staff, it seems to me that LSU has significant advantages.

LSU is throwing their best offer out there but i just don't see anything neutral that is pointing to Jimbo actually jumping ship from FSU.

I'm a LSU alum have been a fan all my life, and i can think of why he would possibly leave FSU for LSU what would he possibly gain?

Heard from another source with ties to Trasher that said FSU's president is confident that Fisher will be staying at Florida State.

OKC was very confident that KD was staying with Thunder, Saban staying with LSU, etc

You think Theo Epstein would be interested in giving a college AD job a try? You know, go down as the greatest sports manager of all time?

Surely Chicken knows Theo's people.
