He's done an incredible job at Kansas given what he's got to work with. Before he got there, they hadn't won more than 3 games in the previous 11 seasons.

He has a rough year 1, got them to 6-6 with a bowl game in year 2, 9 wins and a bowl game in year 3.

Year 4 got off to a terrible start this year at 1-5 and 2-6 but they've gotten 3 straight ranked upsets and need one more win for another bowl. The old Kansas would have just collapsed and gone 1-11.

He's taken Kansas from a complete joke to a competitive team.

He only has one more left in him since he is already 60. He is a big 10 coach based on his background, would be a shoe in if Wisconsin comes open in the next 3 years. Other places I could see him going would be Nebraska, Michigan if they cannot produce results, or Penn state if they continue to never win the big game.

He's an excellent coach, but he's not under-resourced at Kansas compared to their conference (except for maybe Az State and Colorado).
Maybe he could jump to the 2nd tier - Nebraska, Wisconsin or the like.

I could see him at Purdue, but why would he leave Kansas?
