I really hope he doesn't get one but I get why he is a hot commodity.

It’s like they remember that notre dame one time hired a high school coach, and they thought to themselves, I can do one better! I can hire a former high school coach who has no coaching experience outside of those three years, and he can be our coach.

For saying the Lions have a decent young roster? I’m confused as to what about my post pissed people off?

Being reported that Ben Johnson has informed teams he is staying with Detroit.

These teams that mess around winning 7-8 games during a rebuild like the Lions just did are only putting themselves further behind with regard to what needs to be done.

Not really. You have to build the culture and you don't necessarily do that by winning 3-5 games every year. They are in a significantly better position now going 9-8 and believing than 5-12 and questioning the direction.

It also helps when you don't have to tank, just let the Rams do it for you.

The team can win with Goff. They just won 8 of 10 to close out the season and I'm fairly certain he was the highest rated QB while doing it.

That said, it wouldn't surprise me to see them draft a QB and delay the decision on him for another year.

Goff played really well the second half of the season. I think they'll use most of their picks on improving the defense and they’ll be dangerous next year. Williams will be fully healthy next year too.

Huge news. Really thought he did an outstanding job utilizing the young talent there. I wouldn't blame him if he took a gig but this is excellent news for that team.

They draft a QB mid rounds IMO..Backup QB is definitely a priority. Agreed about going defense primarily. Another TE wouldn't hurt

the Vikings defense proved to be the team's Achilles heel. It allowed the second-most total yards in the NFL, the second-most passing yards, and were tied for the third-most points allowed. Minnesota's defense also ranked 27th in the NFL in DVOA. In the Super Wild Card Weekend loss to the Giants, Donatell's defense surrendered 31 points, 431 yards of total offense, and allowed New York to average 6.3 yards per play as Minnesota was sent home after a 13-4 campaign and being the No. 2 seed in the NFC.
