Derek Dooley might. Maybe Brian Kelly.

Maybe Jimbo but it looks like his deal at FSU is solid.

It'll be interesting.

bowden run a more pass reliant offense at auburn i think. Calvin mcgee has the title of OC but rich rod called the plays. another guy is possibly butch jones, he just finished his first year as HC at central michigan and took em to a bowl, he was the wr's coach at west virginia for a while under rodriguez

Nick Saban would be an amazing hire for WVU if they could gather the money. Saban grew up there, and would love to return home. Also, it would help us out a TON, since Saban is killing us in recruiting.

I really think this is a scary hire for WVU. If they get the wrong guy, they could quickly slide back to their traditional place amongst the ranks of average programs

Jimbo would get a look had this happened two or three weeks ago.

The Hogs are my second favorite team. I'm partial to them and I would have rather seen Arkansas hire Muschamp than Petrino.

Exactly my thoughts as well. As an LSU fan I was more worried about Muschamp than Petrino.

If they want an "offensive genius," Brian Billick may be available soon.

Why are having to be such a fricking a-hole? DocHog has been very civil. Quit being such a prick.

I don't believe that was never an option for him. Probably germans, but I would like to have seen Gary Crowton get a crack at him. But until then, no way he sees the field until JaMarcus leaves. Not in Jimbo's offense.

Thanks ROcket. I feel the same way about LSU.

I want to be clear, however, that I am pretty enthused about the Petrino hire. I don't think the bad publicity has done anything other than reinforce him staying at Arkansas for a fairly long time, and I think he will be successful.

who knows though?

Unfortunately, I do not think he will be there longer than 3 seasons. He is using Arkansas as a stepping stone to "greater things."

like? He's at an SEC school. The top conference in America. making pretty good money and is at a school where it's not too hard to recruit. He knows he's not NFL material, obviously, so where else would he go?
