former money man for miami with a lot of ties to recruiting in the area due to his time spent at da u

i'd imagine with him being a head coach before, he wouldn't work under a big name HC who has his hands on the D

i'd imagine that his recruiting name would be best served if he stayed in the southeast, so SEC/ACC is most likely

UTenn? don't know if they're happy with their DC
Ole Miss? don't know if they could afford him
Maryland?
Clemson?

i'm just throwing out schools here

i thought about them, i just don't know if his title as head coach has affected his ego to where he wouldn't "go back" with butch

yeah I was gonna say UF. control of the D, prob the best money he could get, and he stays in Fla.

is SC too far? their D sucks, and Monte's bound to be ready to retire.

i thought about USC b/c they need a new DC, need better recruiting on D, and shannon knows how to deal with probation

but no way lane fires his dad

imagine if UF hires shannon and holgreson

Assuming Nix is fired, Ole Miss actually makes sense. Their money man, Vaughn, has his big time connections in the Miami metro. Nix is one of the higher paid DCs as well.

Probably too much bad blood between Shannon and Meyer for him to come to Florida.
