BYU points scored '01 - '04 (Crowton Head Coach)
'01 - 608
'02 - 272
'03 - 196
'04 - 267

LSU points scored '07 -10 (Crowton OC)
'07 - 541
'08 - 402
'09 - 323
'10 - 386

For those who say that Les "handcuffed" Crowton, who was hancuffing Crowton at BYU?

Crowton came to Oregon after spending four years as head coach at Brigham Young. He installed a spread-option offense that piled up plenty of points as the Ducks finished 10-2 in 2005. In 2006, Oregon averaged more than 36 points per game while starting the season 7-2. The Ducks, however, lost their last four games and were held to 10 points or fewer in three of them, including a 38-8 loss to BYU in the Las Vegas Bowl.

Guess Les handcuffed him in Oregon also.

this video describes crowton perfectly:

That play-call is vintage Mad Hatter bizarreness, only without the magical catch for a TD.

So was the Wizard actually the real Mad Hatter that called the over-the-shoulder fake FG's against SoCar & Fla, or the risky Flynn-to-Byrd TD against Auburn, or the five 4th downs against Florida, etc..?

I'm sure we'll still have the open-fingered hand claps, grass-eating goodness, and "Have A Great Day" soundbites we've come to know and love from Miles, but will the unconventional & bizarre play-calling be gone with Crowton's departure?

Crowton was OC not the Special Teams coach. As for the Flynn to Byrd TD. Got to be Lesticles!
