Best Available candidate!
We are going to have to steal someone's coach

Gary Patterson but idk if we could get him

Jon Gruden, Harbaugh, or Gary Patterson
We more than likely wouldn't be able to get them, so it's a moot point. We'd more than likely end up hiring Pelini, which would just be sort of a meh hire IMO.

Pelini to LSU would be a lateral move for him, if harbaugh turns down Michigan then i doubt he'd coach anywhere but the NFL or Stanford, and Jon Gruden :beatdeadhorse: :beatdeadhorse:

i think Kevin Sumlin would be a very interesting hire for LSU if we couldn't get Patterson, Gruden, etc..

dont think miles leaves, always talk of how his family likes br, the southern life, but if, and i say if, he left for mich. lsu would be no holds barred on new coach. it would be a biiig name coach. oh and by the way, kick some aggie butt, go tigers.....

Would be my first choice. Throw as much money as needed at him.

Take two dump trucks and fill them both with $100 bills. Park one in Gruden's driveay. Park the other in Patterson's driveway. Whoever makes it back to Baton Rouge first, wins.

Finding a coach will not be a problem. Les is not going anywhere, he has a great job where he is.

I think Miles is going to use the situation to get a new contract. Only way he goes is if the admin calls his bluff. If we can't get a big name here are there are four really good coaches out there who I think would come.
1) Gary Pinkel
2) Troy Calhoun
3) Paul Rhodes
4) Art Briles

Heard that he has big investments in oil with alot of boosters and alum if true then $ will make no difference.

My choices: Patterson, Calhoun
But I think the realistic hire would be Pelini.
