Yep, there is nobody. I looked up NFL coaches that were DC and the list is tiny. None of them were head coaches in college.

Like I said Kyle Whittingham is a good coach. Very solid for a long time in a tough place to coach. He isn’t exactly a big splash hire. There is really nobody else. Pat Narduzzi? LOL no, really nobody left. If he said offensive coordinators and head coaches you have more to choose from.

The only decent Coach that is defensive, is out of left field, and isn’t one of the names you’ve eliminated is Brent Veneables.
He wouldn’t be a bad hire but it certainly wouldn’t be a home run.

Venables would be an awful hire. He’ll be fired by OU next year, possibly this year after he finishes with 4-5 losses
