I could believe it. I wouldn’t understand hiring someone who's never actually called a defense when you're already on a short leash.

While it’s obviously unsaid, I think Woodward’s attitude is to give O just enough rope to hang himself next season.

The one thing I know about the DC and OC coordinators based on this board the last few days. Whoever it is there will definitely be a portion of the fan base that hates the hire.

He very well could be. He has been here long enough that he deserves a look. Personally, like many others, it concerns me that he has never been a DC but SHOULD be knowledgeable enough to handle it.
