You’re being naive to dismiss the pull one has to his school, especially when he grew up there. Put that together and the draw of being the hero that brings that program back to prominence, Gator fans are being extremely arrogant if they don’t think it’s a draw.

Oh you’re also coming off the firing of two coaches relatively early in their tenure. Having the backing of Osborne will give Frost plenty of time to rebuild he wouldn’t get at UF

If not Frost, we move to option B.

Frost
Taggart
Gundy
Norvell

Any of these would be a very good hire imo

Head coaches don't spend that much time out on the road recruiting.

There is a period of in home visits near the end of the cycle, but beyond that the assistants are pounding the vast majority of the pavement pounding.

Frost was a national championship winning QB there. He grew up there. His parents still live there and want the grandchild to be nearby. Not to mention all of his friends, colleagues, and teammates who are in his ear, telling him to come home and right the ship. Nebraska is willing to offer (or even exceed) any offer that Florida puts on the table. This one is a no-brainer.

What’s one thing Nebraska offers Frost that UCF/UF can’t match or better?

You have way to much confidence in a coach going to a school where he will have almost no chance to compete for the conference championship.

I thought his buyout would be less then that . We should Give Fuentes a call because his is 6 million now and drops to 5 at the middle of December and he is a little more proven then Frost.

So have his parents, who still reside in Nebraska and want their new grandbaby close by
Frost can take a week's worth of his next salary to move his parents to a house across the street from his anywhere on Earth.

The difference will come down to time spent recruiting. In Florida, you don't have to travel all that far. 90% of players are within driving distance and he can be home nearly every night.

The talent pool in Nebraska is next to nothing so that means tons of travel for a man who is about to have his first kid.

His decision won't come down to money. Any top school can pay him what he want.

His decision will come down to lifestyle.
