As for Florida, they haven’t been relevant since Meyer and Tebow were there.

11-2 2012 top 10 finish. 2of last 3 div titles.
If your counting national titles as being relevant, NU hasnt been relevant in decades

I stand by sources, who are people who know the Frost family directly. Sorry, but I’ll take their word over some random fans on an LSU message board.

Nope, I count conference championships. And you’re right, Nebraska hasn’t been relevant since 2001

Last year he pulled in some big-name guys (Tyjon Lindsey, Keyshawn Johnson Jr) including two from FL

As for his parents, they were born and raised in Nebraska. His dad played for Nebraska still coaches HS football there. Come to Tracey’s on Magazine on a Saturday when Nebraska plays - guy there who went to school with Scott and Steve in Wood River. His dad was the doctor who fixed Steve’s harelip when he was a child. He knows the family VERY well and he says Scott will take the Nebraska job if offered. Said the ONLY way he won’t is if Nebraska doesn’t offer, and sorry, but I have no doubt that Frost is #1 on our new AD’s list.

Not at all. I’m 100% sure he’s Nebraska-bound... but if he were to drop dead or something between now and then, I have faith that our new AD will make a splash hire regardless.

Frost’s wife gave birth to a son, btw...

We'll just have to see. I have a feeling you're gonna disappear from here right after December 2nd.

Florida AD responds to report indicating Gators down to 3 candidates

It will be interesting to see how Gator nation responds to the report, but one fan made their feelings known right off the bat. Twitter user @ChrisATLprayer said they would stop being a Gators fan if any of these coaches were hired and went so far as to tag Stricklin in the tweet.

Stricklin responded with his PSA for fans:

“I've been recruiting all week,” Frost said last year upon taking his name out of the running at Oregon. “[One day,] I drove to a [nearby] town in Florida, recruited and was back in Orlando that night. [The next day,] I drove to another town in Florida and was back at home that night. That's a lot different than flying all over the country and sleeping in a different state every night.”

I’m just trying to save you from the impending heartbreak that you’re going to endure when Frost returns to Nebraska. But hey, if you want to set yourself up for failure, be my guest.
