I agree, but I don’t like the fit with the Jets. They refuse to hire a respected offensive mind as HC, despite having terrible offenses year after year, coach after coach.
Once again the Jets are rebuilding with a defensive HC and a rookie QB.

Yeah running 15% more cover 4 instead of cover three is a TOTAL change and shows a complete lack of adjustment by a DC... oh wait...

He also abandoned his fronts and went to the side 9 and completely changed how the LB and SS interact, being more variable and less rigid

I’ll give you the wide 9. But they started out in 2019 with the wide 9 sets almost every play and were getting gashed so bad in the run they toned it down quite a bit. A good DC making adjustments and will to try new things.

Jets finally made a wise move. Everyone is after Joe Brady but Saleh is the brighter star. He will bring a much needed level headed approach to that team.

Lions fan here, and I was hoping for the same thing, but of course the Lions are dragging there feet, we will doing this same process in 3 years after the new coach fails cause we chose the 2nd tier guys
