Sad Reality-Bill Snyder

With all of these head coaching positions opening up it makes me sad that Ole Bill probably doesn't have too much longer in the tank. Hopefully he still has another 4-5 years in him!

Whenever they win a big game and dumb water on him I think
"well, thats it. he is gonna catch cold and die now"

Snyder deserves to go out how he wants, but the last time one of his teams was this bad was right before he retired the first time. At 76 years old, I don't think he has 4-5 years left in the tank.

Probably the most underrated coach in CFB.

Doesn't he want his son to get the job?

Old Man Snyder is the goat. If he had been at a school like Oklahoma he would have won a few NC.

You can't use the transitive property with coaches. He would have been under a whole different set of pressures at a big school than K State.
He did do a remarkable job though, and I certainly wouldn't have bet against him.

He still could have won a NC at K-State, but they blew a 15 point 4th quarter lead in the 1998 Big 12 Championship Game.

If he wants his son to get the job, he should retire early in the season, since thats acceptable now.

He's 76? Is that right? Wow

He may damn well be. What he did at the 'doormat' of college football was incredible. For the youngsters, KState was the worst program year in and year out for a couple decades. I am still in awe of how he turned this joke into a 'perennial contender' while he was at the helm. When he left it last time it hit bottom again, he brought them back up and competed with the big boys, truly amazing.
to Bill Snyder !

agree he's been an amazing coach, and has a pretty good legacy of coaches in college football to go along with his accomplishments.

hard to remember the last time the Aggies won a conference, of course it's still more recent than Mizzou and Pinkels zero conf. championships.
at least Snyder will have that B12 Trophy that Pinkel never won.
