Good job, Farkwad.

Yes, so washed up.

Even I'll say Saban is not closed to washed up.

Actually, my thought is, if it doesn't go down, this shitshow will have tarnished UT's reputation so bad, that our opportunities to recruit there will increase several fold over the next few years.

Ergo, the whole thing's win-win for LSU no matter what plays out.

I don't know that Nick's "washed up", though. Part of me feels he may be starting to tire of it all.

Why wouldn't he wear the A? He's the Bama coach ATM.

If this is just a mere preview of the melts we get when Saban signs that extension, I can't. fricking. wait.

I'm interested to see what Bama fans consider a meltdown on here in comparison to what they considered a meltdown after the auburn game.

Considering ANY post from a Bama fan is considered a melt by LSU standards I don't think the bar is set very high.

I could literally post "Boo" and would have 5 people pointing out that I was having a meltdown.

The only reason most LSU fans want him to go have nothing to do with competing against him, we've had more success against him than anyone else. What they want is to see this smug, arrogant, entitled fan base go ape shite trying to deal with the loss of this loved one.
So Gumps, don't flatter yourself, nobody's scared of your little fella. Respect? On the field, sure. Off the field, not a chance.

Look at the posts from most of the guys in this thread deflecting his non-appearance at the Award Show, now confident with renewed vigor.

I actually was surprised he wouldn't be there. Made me lean to the staying crowd. Didn't figure he would send McCarron off like that. I like McCarron and he will probably be the player most linked to Saban's legacy.

Maxwell Award looked to be his consolation. I hope he wins Heisman, but don't see that happening. Saban's eyes looked a bit watery to me. They had a great run.

Nah, it'll be fairly underwhelming. Back to business as usual, AFAIAC.

He's probably thinking of Blake Sims QBing his team next year. So gone.

starting the irony early, I see.

This is going to be most enjoyable, regardless of the outcome.

I haven't been posting here long, but I thought our melt was pretty well contained...outside of a few renegades that went over the edge.

It did hurt like hell. So close to history...
