Perfect time for Nick to get out of Tuscaloosa. Notre Dame wants a proven winner at a major college program. Money is not an object. While recruiting has gone well at Bama, most of a very good defense is gone after this year.

they are replacing talent with talent. his defenses at bama will always be stout with the amount of talent that he is bringing in.

Do you think ND's talent will be any better? Seriously, why do people think Saban or Stoops would go to Notre Dame? It's the same stupidity that makes people think Chris Carter or Jerry Rice will be our next WR coach.

I agree. They'll be the next OC. I also heard that Mike Martz will be the next OC if Cris and Jerry say no.

It's easy to throw Saban in a discussion about ND because of one thing: it's green and it gets you nice things.

Sounds more like it's time for $exton to get $aban a raise than for him to pack his bags and leave town for a new gig.

This, although I believe there's an outside chance Saban would take the job. Sexton will at least encourage Saban to make a "I am not going to be the coach at Notre Dame, period" statement to get the Bama muckity-mucks all worked up and start adding more suction to his left one.

Because Notre Dame is the pinnacle of college football. He also gets away from the AL culture going back to an environment in his comfort zone.

It could happen, because of the cash and lack of excitement in Tuscaloser. I mostly did this to "put the sweat" on the Bama boys.

You would have heard the rumors already because Sexton would have already put Nickie's name in the hat.
