Feels eerily similar to his Iowa loss right before the NFL....(not really but I'll pray for it)

The only way Saban can win championships is by talent advantage and that won't happen in NFL, he knows it and he said it.

Equally not likely but I wouldn't hate it

He's not. It's too late for the NFL. He's staying at Bama til he retires. He's paid as well as any NFL coach (or better), he has complete organizational control, he's stocked the cupboard with players and coaches, and he can kick any player of the team if they talk back to him

I hope he stays and chases Bear's n.c. record only to see it fade like woods after J.N. record.

Do you really believe that this is the only quality that separates Saban from the rest?

Do you mean in his career or in terms of the NFL's hiring season?

Because this is prime time to get an open NFL job.

Saban is done with the NFL.
He took a bite of the big NFL shite sandwich 12 years ago and doesn't want another taste.
He can't cherry pick his players.
He can't bully multimillionaire players with his coaching style.
He wants to coach a good while longer and another failure in the NFL would prevent that from occurring.
He's a great recruiter and college coach but that's it. He knows it.

He's an elite recruiter and it's likely his best asset. Not going anywhere.

Not enough control in the NFL for Saban. Little man syndrome won't let him feel like he's not the in control.
