We were told that his daughter had a baby and lived in Austin. That is the reason that he may move or has a house in Austin. This person was well informed and a TAF board member. He does have a son and daughter.

Sounds like a great reason to take a job in Austin

So Saban signed a 9 million dollar contract with Texas while Mack Brown still had one last game to coach? I call bullshite. The main reason being, it's bullshite. The second reason being, how bad would Texas looked had Brown and the Longhorns beaten Baylor yesterday with this secret deal already signed and sealed? They would have won the Big 12 outright and would be on their way to play UCF in the Fiesta Bowl.

Do I even need to tell you to imagine the PR shitstorm that would have resulted from such a move? It would be Jetgate multiplied by a hundred.

The rumors are insufferable.

I heard one today that Saban was in debt.

I think it has something to do with a bad investment in Perkins Rowe or something. No facts though. This isn't the poliboard. Rumors rule the day here.

I heard he lost his arse on a private space shuttle.

You know, so he could go coach the University of Mars.

That's just dumb. Everyone knows Mars is terrible recruiting ground.

He loves the challenge.

He knows he has to recruit out of these world athletes to stop the Gus Bus.

Texas is getting a new AD who will clean house. The only way Mack could have kept his job was winning the national championship, Alamo Bowl won't cut it. Mack is toast after the bowls are done.
