stated it before, with LA HS NIL in place, he can lock kids up for 3-4 years and not worry about transfer portal/constant NIL headache unless he chooses to have the player transfer.
The GM front office LSU has in place helps. Still 5% chance, but you never know.

People need to realize that Saban left for a reason. Whether that was his age or NIL/Portal, he was ready to move on. I’m not saying he won’t take the job, but I’d be worried he made the right decision when he walked away before.

If lsu pays saban 20 million, they will make it back quick. The fan base would go crazy and fill the stadium again. They would get the big tv games too

He was one play away from playing in the national championship less than 2 seasons ago. He’s currently analyzing play after play after play. He’s clearly watching a lot of football. And he has so much respect in the football world that I can not imagine a single player not buying in to his system 100%.

I’ll be surprise if we even reach out to Nick to be the coach… it makes no sense… I could see us reaching out for his help in the search though

If this was true, he’d clearly and absolutely squash it on national TV when given the chance.

He’s dodged that question multiple times over the past week or so.
I do think LSU has talked to him. I don’t know if he will be coaching next year, but I think he is considering something other than Game Day otherwise he would have flat out denied at some point.
