home purchases are a matter of public record. thus anyone with a mind to can simply go to the clerk of court and look at the property records to see if any of these purchase rumors are valid.

in my opinion it would be foolish for a coach to purchase a home without a done deal. in fact les's leaving is not a done deal. what if somthing causes the deal to unravel in michigan? besides all of that, any coach facing that situation would want to be able to deny he was looking to leave his current school, hard to do if someone post's pictures of your wife looking for houses in baton rouge, which would happen.

people are just taking shots in the dark. . .hoping to be able to say "Look at what a great `inside source' I am". . .if what they guess actually occurs.

That is all it is.

In the immortal words of the great philosopher, Chuck D:

"Don't believe the hype."

They aren't public record until escrow is closed which as you should know doesn't happen in a week. Average from the time contract is signed until close date is no less than 30 days

He could put a contract to purchase a home contingent on actually getting the job. Also, any contract to purchase is the private information of all parties involved until escrow has closed.

What I am trying to say is this post is dumb.

Still, the property is not likely in 'their' name, probably using blind LLC or such for the purpose.

Realtor or mortgage broker right? I would say most people with "half a brain" know that that's an obivous. However, it may not be that easy to determine who the individual is in the case, where a corporation, LLC, trust or other third-party entity is the owner. In Saban's case, if memory serves me correctly, the Highland Road house was orginially financed by TAF, which was the title holder. Additioanlly, by the time paperwork is recorded in the Clerk's office, you would long since know who the coach is...........try anothe approach!

yes dumbass 6 months later when the record gets recorded and published. It takes time for the records to become available.

the messages i have read, and what i have addressed was rumors of a home being purchased, not a contract being placed on a home with a contingency, that would not be a home purchase. as far as it not happening in a week, you need a new loan officer <grins> while it is not the norm, it does happen.

really it take that long. NOT. the day after the documents are signed the title company goes to the courthouse to file the papers. but, if spouting off like you know somthing when you do not makes you feel better, then by all means, spout away!!
