I'm not familiar with the intricate details but didn't Bjork hire Kiffin and Beard? Hard to ask for better hires than that

Beard was hired last year. Bjork has been at AM like 5 years

No, those were both our current AD, Keith Carter.
Bjork hired Matt Luke as our football HC and let the NCAA run roughshod over us for the Freeze stuff.

Which is funny because most ole miss fans were ready to set Oxford on fire when Carter was announced as AD. I didn't blame them though, guy had zero experience

He's definitely way exceed expectations. He's by far the best AD we've ever had.
ETA: I think it's largely because he views Ole Miss as his dream job and is willing to make a risky hire if it's the best bet rather than play it conservative so your a safe hire for the next bigger school. Kiffin and Beard were risky hires, but so far home runs.
