Jimbo would be such a meh hire. He has a lot of tools to work with at ATM and isn't exactly lighting the world on fire. I wanted Jimbo when Les was getting fired, but I'm kind of glad it didn't happen at this point. The guy is average at best and has proved it in his last few years at FSU and the last 4 years at A&M. I just don't get the obsession with the guy.

Jimbo had his chance to come to LSU and passed. This, plus his age is a pass for me. And, I don’t see him leaving aTm anyway.

i mean he developed kellen mond into a 60%+ passer with a 19-3 td/int ratio.
he also just beat bama with his backup qb
i don't see anyway he leaves TAMU, but to say he hasn't done well developing qbs is inaccurate

He lost his QB this year and the same thing is on the verge of happening. And think about this: even beating Bama they are not winning the West.
