I hope he gets it. He's been bouncing around the NFL for a long time and it would be nice to have an LSU guy head coaching in the NFL.

first of all, if you are talking about the former LSU player, it is Robiskie and for those of you who do not know it,
he played for the Raiders so there is a connection.

Going from a WR coach to a head coach even at Oakland sounds like an easy decision. Worst case he gets fired in two years or so and rolls into a BCS program as the head coach.

It's not like he will have other opportunities to take over a NFL team anytime soon.

Take a look at Kiffen --- complete failure at Oakland to HC of Tennessee. This and a lot more money and fame is why former Tiger Robiski would take this job.

boom. Better get a U of Phoenix degree during his nights in Oakland though.

Robiskie i think had one of the worst offenses in the history of the world as OC in Oakland under Shell.

The chance to be a head coach in the NFL is the ultimate. Besides, as far as the Raiders are concerned, they are down & out right now, so a chance to improve the team over a couple of years opens up a lot of even better jobs in the future...

Robiski is a professional interviewer and not much more. If he were he would have been hired by someone before now.

Raiders need to get Fassel if he will take the job.

JR is coming on now and does not need a first time head coach. They need an experienced head coach.

I don't want Terry Robiskie Coaching JR just because its Terry Robiskie, but this statement is pretty ignorant considering coaches this year such as John Harbaugh and Mike Smith. Being a 1st year head coach has no bearing on how JR would or wouldn't progress as an NFL QB. If the coach is good, the coach is good. Unfortunately for Robiskie....he's just not that good...

the fortune tellers are at work..
don't you know...

as if they were EXPERTS in knowing what good is or is not.

as for myself.....
I do not know what kind of a job he will do,
but he is part of the LSU family

best of luck to him, hope he gets the opportunity
at least he will get a financial boost

Well, as the Head Coach of the Oakland Raiders, you ARE one of only 32 such men in the world.

You make a LOT OF MONEY.

It looks REAL GOOD on a resume...even if you ultimatly get fired...you had to be a pretty good coach to get one of these jobs in the first place...even if you ultimatly fail at this one.

Oakland's overall history is one of great success. If you get this job and succeed...well, ya done real good there kiddo.

You axed!
